WALKING SAFARI

Walking safaris are perhaps the ultimate bush adventure as you get up close and personal with Africa’s wildlife; from gentle giraffes to rhinos, elephants or lions.

Outbound in Africa walking safaris literally take you places you can’t imagine as you push your own personal boundaries. You’ll walk during the cooler parts of the day and sleep out under the stars, with just a small dome tent between you and the wild. You’ll discover the liberating thrill of an outdoor shower, learn about the art of tracking and experience delicious, home-style meals around a blazing campfire and under a canopy of stars.

Walking safaris are also a great way to see the smaller bush creatures and become part of your surroundings that might be over looked when on a vehicle, such as following up and identifying spoor, chatting about the insects, medicinal uses of the plants in the local area, chatting about the ecosystem and sometimes track and encounter large game.
